Two down, 14 to go!
I’m Grandma Carolyn to 14 of the best grandchildren in the world, plus two new best “grandchildren-in-law.” I married widowed missionary Les with three little boys when I was 19. We headed straight to Costa Rica, where our fourth little boy was born. I only knew how to say “no comprendo” at first…but I learned how to get going and have never stopped.

Thanks, Carol! I’m so glad these crazy modern things work to help us keep in touch. And yes, the wedding gowns have totally amazed me, too! I have received so many beautiful dresses and they are ALWAYS so overwhelmed, no matter the country or church or bride. I even gave one to a groom in Cuba because his fiance was in another town. He literally hopped and skipped out of the house and across the seminary campus.
